Dust Mites

$885.00 later we know the deal. Let's write that like we were writing a check: Eight Hundred Eighty Five and 00/100 cents.

An allergy doctor (an allergist?) that wore a bow-tie told us what it was. The Indian practice doctor heartily agreed. It is so. It is dust mites. That live in our beds. On our bodies. Everywhere. And we suck them up into our noses where they get stuck in our mucous membranes in our sinuses. I guess they thrash around until they die? Or do they multiply in the moist environs?

Dawn sneezes and wheezes. It's sort of funny. But not to her. She's allergic.

Do you know what dust is? Dead skin from humans and animals. Tiny insect bodies. Crap from everywhere.

I sprain my ankle and get flesh-eating foot fungi. Dawn gets dust mites caught in her nose.
