Here are some pics of the Pike Place Fish Company.

Why is this place world-famous? As far as it goes, here's what happens: Someone picks out what they want and tells one of the guys out front. He grabs it up and hurls it over the counter to the guys who weigh it and package it.

Not that big a deal if it's something like pre-packaged squid. But when they start hurling 50 pound halibut around, it's pretty cool.

Plus they inspired this stupid book that anyone that's ever had to supervise more than 3 people has been forced to read in their various training classes.
